Since the rise of ChatGPT (Artificial Intelligence), we see and hear information about #ArtificialIntelligence daily on television and other media. The expectations of Generative AI are sky-high, but is this justified? And, can our organization keep up with these developments? And, how do we get started within our organization? All questions that IT managers, CEOs and CIOs struggle with on a daily basis. In this article, I take you through my vision of #AI and how you can roll it out within your organization.
What is AI and what can you do with it?
Ai is the ability of a machine to exhibit human-like skills, think: reasoning, reading and planning. They are intelligent systems, able to perform tasks independently. AI uses data and algorithms to learn and continuously improves itself in this way. As an organization, you use it, for: data collection, data cleaning, data preparation, training data and for making predictions.
What impact are we going to see in the coming years?
In the coming years, we will see AI being used to cut costs and (partially) address staff shortages. In the coming period, we are going to see the impact especially in generative AI. For example, 85% of customer interactions will be carried out by Artificial intelligence by the end of 2025, speeding up the processing time of customer contact by 70% on average. This increases your customers' ultimate satisfaction and engagement by 64% and saves over 30% in customer service costs. Are you curious about our research and developments in #AI? How do we roll this out within the organization?
Now you've read the Whitepaper and are probably thinking "I get the concept, but how do we successfully roll this out within the organization?" To begin, you start with a strategic exploration within your organization. In this phase, among other things, you set up a portfolio framework, establish a strategy and collect use cases. It is important to have a clear direction and frameworks, otherwise there is a good chance that your AI pilot will fail. Unfortunately, this still happens very regularly. Next comes application within a leading group and finally within teams, followed by evaluations and adoptions. So a step-by-step adoption! We wrote a Whitepaper about the implementation and rollout of AI in your application landscape. If you want to receive it, just comment 'Whitepaper strategy' below this article and I'll send it to you.
